Welcome to Blue Door Reiki – Energy healing in the heart of Vermont.

Healing Hand

What is Reiki?

At its simplest, Reiki is universal healing energy. All life is filled with energy that is in constant vibration and Reiki taps into that energy to promote healing. As the practitioner, Sarah functions as the conduit between the universal energy and the client’s energy.

How does Reiki work?

The universal energy that Sarah opens over and around a client will go where it needs to go within the client. Sarah has developed and enhanced her universal healing energy conduit during her many visits to spiritual sites in Europe, Australia, and the United States. In Europe she has visited Stone Circles, Megalithic sites and tombs in Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, and France. In addition to spending time at spiritual sites such as Uluru in Australia. Please see some of the images below.

What does Reiki feel?

Each client will have an individual and unique experience but it’s typical for them to feel warmth, possibly have visualizations. Sometimes a client will have an emotional experience, sometimes they will feel nothing only to notice a response or "ah-ha" hours/days/weeks later.

How do I prepare for a Reiki session?

All you need to do is wear comfortable clothing and relax. The Reiki does the work. It’s best for the client to be well-nourished – not over-stuffed, but not hungry, either. And plan to bring water or a water bottle. We have a wonderful source of well water and clients are welcome to fill their own water bottles here.

What are the benefits of Reiki?

The list of benefits from Reiki is expansive, but please understand that Reiki does not replace medications prescribed by your doctor. Reiki promotes physical and mental well-being for all living people, animals, plants, and the Earth and compliments other forms of healing and exercise.

What are the steps to prepare for Reiki?

First, Sarah will have a brief consultation with you to discuss how Reiki works, answer your questions, and talk about any issues you want to address. This is confidential and you can share to your comfort level. The consultation is free and includes 15 minutes of Reiki so you can experience it and gain familiarity with the process. After that, we will work on your schedule, whether you need a quick 15 minute tune up, a longer 30 minute exploration session, 45 minutes of relaxation, or a deeper, full one-hour session to promote healing. Longer sessions are also possible so just discuss your needs with Sarah.

Free Reiki Share

If you are currently certified in Reiki at any level and would like to participate in cost-free Reiki Shares just contact Sarah. This is a nice way to practice Reiki and share the energies.

What are your hours? Can I just drop in?
